YELLOW HOUSE, AUGUST

This is the view from my bedroom window in the house I grew up in in Binghamton. I've painted it about 100 times, though this is the only one that I painted directly from life-- that is, looking out the window and drawing and painting very carefully what I saw. All the rest are from my head.
